Summer has come to an end so it is time to open your closet and put on those nice Santoni winter shoes.

Almost all over the world, winters can be pretty cold and our feet need greater protection. Traditionally, this is provided by boots, especially by boots which extend 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) above the ankle. Boots can cover just the foot but some styles even cover the lower parts of the leg. For making boots, same materials and techniques are used as when making normal shoes, the biggest difference is the sole. Most boots are made with a rubber sole to prevent slipping in the snow or on a wet surface.

Santoni at PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 81°
